Welcome to "Centering Anti-racism", an online course designed for healthcare professionals to advance self-reflection and growth in critical concepts connected to anti-racism.

Systemic racism, oppression, and systems of privilege continue to manifest in the daily lived experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and in ongoing inequities in our healthcare system.

The events of 2020 - the COVID-19 pandemic and its disproportionate devastation on BIPOC communities; And the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and so many others - have been heart-wrenching, infuriating, and a resounding call to action. In this course, participants will complete six interactive modules which weave in foundational concepts germane to centering anti-racism. Each module has an interactive quiz which prompts participants to review journal articles, podcasts, and other media, and then answer follow-up questions. Each module is designed to take approximately 60 minutes for a total of six hours of CME credit.

If you are interested in exploring readings in addition to this course, a list of additional resources has been collated for your convenience. Thank you for your participation in this course and for your commitment towards a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive healthcare system.
